Rainy Day

We were supposed to walk in the March of Dimes walkathon this morning, but it would be a 60 mile round trip at $3 a gallon, and it's supposed to rain. No way do I want to get caught in the middle of a walking trail when the thunderstorms hit with my three year old and my grumpy husband. We're staying in, for now.

However, this afternoon we're taking Ian roller skating for the first time. We told him we were going last night and it's all he has been talking about since. I spent the majority of my teen years at the Round About Roller Rink in Goldsboro. All night skates, birthday parties, everything. I was there. I hope he enjoys it as much as I did - and I hope I can still skate as well as I used to!
